frazzled would be an understatement. Each time we looked at something
or tried to address something it was another issue that had to be
dealt with. This wasn't just the pretty stuff. My place needed major
help in order to be safe for my crew to be here and we had a short
time frame and a super tight budget. Every time something structural
had to be fixed or address that costs had to come from some where.
So while we realize that the plumbing basically needs to be totally
redone =( Yikes for my budget I started to make the best of the
situation with paint. The cabinets had been this beige/tan and also
a dark wierd chocolate brown. I decided (in part because I got a 5
gallon bucket at Walmart for like $40) to paint them white and then go
from there. I like the look of them much better over the poopy brown
color. The white is also hiding the nervousness I have over all the
necessary repairs. more to come.
