Can someone please explain these lights?? and why would you take the bulbs and globe/covers to them??   I just have no idea how to explain it so that it makes sense.  But in the mean time I have to deal with them and the electrical mess that they create.     I am way way over my head to be honest and the overwhelmed panic is setting in. My budget is going to hell in a hand basket and my approach now is a few steps:
1. deep breathe
2. safety of my family is first priority regardless of the costs at this point
3.  most of this is a one time price to pay or won't need to be redone for a very long time
4. reminding myself that when its done its gonna be super cute
